It’s So Delicious! Have you ever had so delicious Coconut Milk? Coconut milk products are growing in popularity because of their taste and health benefits. You can use it as a regular milk substitute on your cereal, as a coffee creamer, or drink it straight out of a glass! So Delicious Coconut Milk is dairy free, gluten free, soy free, cholesterol free, trans fat free and Certified Vegan. Coconut milk does contain saturated fat, but not all saturated fats are bad for you. Coconut milk has a vegetarian sourced saturated fat consisting of MCFAs (medium chain fatty acids). These fatty acids are actually used by the body as energy instead of storing them as fat. The fats that pose a health risk are the long chain fats derived from animals.

Studies have shown that the MCFAs can actually build our bodies’ immune systems and help with weight maintenance.


With its creamy texture and natural sweetness, coconut milk tastes like it should be bad for you. And yet, it’s anything but that. And did you know: Coconut milk isn’t actually “milk” at all? It is a liquid that is naturally found inside mature coconuts, stored within the coconut ‘meat’. When you crack open a fresh coconut, the liquid that leaks out is coconut water. But when you blend the coconut ‘meat’ and strain it, the result is a thicker coconut ‘milk’. So, what’s the difference? As a coconut matures, more of the water inside is replaced with coconut meat. So mature coconuts tend to be better producers of coconut milk, while younger coconuts are the best producers of coconut water.


In GINATAAN FESTIVAL, an array of Filipino dishes and desserts mixed with coconut milk or extract will be featured. Due to the significance of the coconut tree, the Ginataan Festival was created to celebrate the phenomenal plant.
